14A – Halfway Reflection

Image
14A – Halfway Reflection One of the biggest things I learned from this course is time management. I had to learn how to get things done throughout my Thursdays, and be able to have the night time to do my ENT assignments. Additionally, I learned how to be honorable and doing this truthfully. The quizzes I do honorably and only click true, when I have the assignment completely finished. A tie that I almost gave up, was a cupcake day. I was just going to take a 0 for the cupcake. But I watched all the videos and almost got all the answers right. It was through this that made me very happy and accomplished. I knew  can get very successful in this class. I grew a lot, I never watch videos but now I do. I watch them and I'm not a great test taker. I don't do well on the cupcakes but the grade is no the point the main reason of doing this is to learn. By watching the videos I learn a lot and the cupcakes are meaningful, but meaningless. Three things I would offer is: have good time...

13A – Reading Reflection No. 1

13A – Reading Reflection No. 1 1.  I did not understand that one of the most richest people in the world was something at the beginning of his life, very different from an entrepreneur. The guy who created Mcdonalds was a pianist at first then he became the creator of Mcdonalds.  I understood where Kroc was coming from, but I did admire how he put his dedication to his business first. He pushed everything to the side, and he ensured his business would grow. This then created a cain reaction that all his other entities, like relationships, would go down hill I did not like how he pushed everyone aside. He went on it alone and dealt with everyone like business. He didn't grow any of his relationships. He kept everything business. This made hi too formal, as if he was a robot.  His first two stores of Mcdonalds did not go well. He had troubles making them live long. For them to operate it took him a lot of money. He was living paycheck to paycheck. It turned out to b...

12A – Figuring Out Buyer Behavior No. 1

12A – Figuring Out Buyer Behavior No. 1 The section I wanted to talk about is the sports part. In my research I had to interview three people. These three people were people from different levels of sports play: first I downtown did a recreational IM player, I interviewed my little brother a high school all star, and a college player in my sociology class. What I learned was that these three levels of people shared similar thinking. They all had 1 goal. But they had similar needs. I think it is through the sport they played is what made their similarities. In their I interviews they each needed to have good diets to stay fit. Each player had a good diet and that’s what kept them either decent at the game or great. I can see that one need awareness it is easy to find something that someone needs. What a person has to do is see the problem and look where this problem will benefit someone. Then seek out interviews through those people and see if it will benefit them more than 50% it wil...

11A – Idea Napkin No. 1

11A – Idea Napkin No. 1 1. I am a college student. My talents are that I am very organized. I know how to organize and fix things. My aspirations are to make something that can universally help anyone. Whatever it is I want it to help any kind of person no matter where they are from. 2. My product is an app, compatible for all devices. This app will solve the parking problems in places with a large demand in parking. I will specifically be targeting universities. This app will monitor parking spots and give the availability of them in real time. This will help with the congestion of parking and will help with the demand in parking. It will also help with saving time with parking. 3. The demographic I will be aiming for are people who actually need it, in specific, business owners. These are people that have large amounts of traffic coming in and out and will have the most benefit of the app. 4. I will use specifically universities. These are places that have a high magnitude of...

10A – Elevator Pitch No. 1

10A – Elevator Pitch No. 1

9A – Testing the Hypothesis, Part 2

9A – Testing the Hypothesis, Part 2 Who: Through the interviews I figured out there were different views on this app than others. Some schools did not really have this problem to the extremes as I did. I talked to someone who went to UCF and they have more than enough parking, explained. I also talked to a Santa Fe student, and they have a good amount of parking. Yes, they shared they would like this app because they knew it can help them find parking, but even faster and they can save time and not waste it looking in the wrong area. The common theme was that they would use this app to save time and not wander in areas that has no hope in parking. The difference was that access to parking is more accessible in some areas than others. Along with that UF parking is a lot more limited, not free, and the campus itself is smaller than others. Some people explained to me as well that vehicles are essential in mobility in their campus. Amenities and classes are too far apart from each other...

8A – Solving The Problem

8A – Solving The Problem I am going to be addressing the problem with campus parking.  I would like to offer a product for a solution to this. Through talking t people I hear that an app for showing the availability of parking is essential. this app will reinvent the way of parking. It will show where is parking available, real time, and how to get there. It will give specifications about it as well. Ex: how long you can park there and who can park there. There will need to be someone to monitor the parking areas to get the real time update on their availabilities. another way is technology and using cameras and sensors to get the real time and update fo the parking spots. a way I can do this is adding a GPS feature and this will help with people who are unfamiliar with places. I would like to add a maps affect to it as well so people can scroll and see where places are. This will be helpful to people visiting, campus workers, and other people who park on campus. This idea...

7A – Testing the Hypothesis, Part 1

7A – Testing the Hypothesis, Part 1 Opportunity: Knowing about certain places in UF on where to park.  Who: People who plan to park on UF campus This need can be applied t not just campuses but to large places where parking is a hassle. Parking is not easy and should be made easy. What: These people have trouble finding a location to park their vehicle Parking is not taken into consideration when going somewhere. It takes up time and if there is a way to help with parking, then it will relieve a lot of stress. Why: They don't want a ticket, nor waist their time finding parking I think that parking is a large issue and adding parking is one solution. But showing a person where to park is a big help as well. This can change the game of parking and help out many people. Interviews I interviewed five people. I interviewed a Aramark worker, a campus subway worker, a campus housing employee, my roommate, and a campus librarian. I asked them how hard it is t...

6A – Identifying Opportunities in Economic & Regulatory Trends

6A – Identifying Opportunities in Economic & Regulatory Trends Purchasing tobacco is raised to 21 years old now  https://www.vox.com/2019/12/27/21039149/fda-officially-raised-age-to-buy-tobacco-from-18-to-21 Here in Gainesville I noticed it and the tobacco age is now 21 years old. What I hope this does is that is lowers the cancer rate. This hopefully lower the amount of people that still smoke. There is an opportunity is this because there is a program that can be made to educate people about the effects on smoking and people will not smoke. I formed this because I surround myself with smokers who have been smoking since they were 19 and now they have problems at 21 years old. It only took two years but that's all it takes. Obesity levels at a high right now  https://www.cdc.gov/obesity/data/adult.html There is an opportunity in here because there is a way to lower child obesity. There are simple ways to edit someones diet. I formed this because I go t...
