24A – Venture Concept No. 1
My parking app
1. The opportunity that I took advantage of is the problem with finding parking in laces that have a high demand in parking. These are places that have a lot of traffic of vehicles coming in and out of an area.
Some of the forces that helped me come up with this idea is that I go to a school that has little to no parking. This is a great app that I came up with because it will help identify parking spots and it will save time. It is something that people hate and get irritated about.
The main target at the moment for me are college campuses. This is essential because it helps people who go to the college and people who are just visiting. This also goes along with workers as well, along with students. I really liked to add the aspect of football game-days. This will really help.
This solves the problem of spending a lot fo timing finding a place to park. This is something that is serious and annoying to people.
2. The innovation is this that I need to design an app that works for all app devices. This is for both IOS and android. When I can design it for both it will really help. The app I will make will help navigate people to an open spot. I will add a GPS feature that will be the foundation of my work. The coding to create the app will be done either through me or someone from my fraternity that is used to coding apps. This will help with all the issues with the parking in places. I also need to add a real time feature that will helping with where to park and at what times to park at. This is easy to add because I am older and a student on campus I am very very familiar with this on campus. The problem I need to identity is the real time feature i need to make sure it is updated and people aren't chasing after spots that are already taken. i can do this by placing sensors. This makes it 99% accurate. The only time it could be off when there is debris blocking the sensor that is incorrect. I plan on selling it to universities and it will really help them with parking issues.

The concept that I will primarily hitting is the aspect of my real time sequencing. This will help with people not spending a lot of tie looking for a place to park. This will also avoid issues with people going to the same spot and defeating the purpose of the app. I need to make something that is essential for all users. This app will also help people who are disabled. This is a big help because people will use it when arriving on campus. There will be signs around campus that will advertise it and market the usage of it. I will also make it free so people are more influenced to get it. I will also make it very nice and easy to use. It will be very user friendly because I am very organized. The team I will make is very organized. They will e organized because we are very god at working together and coming to our end goal.
the most important resource that I obtain is the aspect that I am a college student. I have lived in the campus area of the University of Florida. This makes me very aware and credible about where to park on campus. This will help with the base line of the app. I plan on using me knowledge on helping the navigation system along with the spots to park. The really important part is the times spots get lifted. There are areas that need a parking pass to park at. I have those resources and that is where I will use my knowledge so people will not get towed.

My whats next feedback was mostly about people relating to my post. People for the most part, have the same idea of expanding their idea and using it till it is obsolete. Once that happens they either will sell their company or they will update their idea.

Student Feedback:
The overall feedback from my last post was very positive. Nothing in the feedback was negative. I had to look at my post and see what I could add. But the thing that people really liked that was it's free. A free app is essential for visitors because no one wants to buy an app for a little while.
Changes I Made:
The main thing I modified that I needed to add was the aspect of game days. I needed to add that on game days which is every year it is very useful for visitors coming into the campus. It will show them wear to park fast and paces that needed t be parked at. They will be more happy and confident when arriving on campus.
Hi Tommy, I enjoyed reading more details about the parking app idea that you have developed throughout the semester. I like that you explained how the app will update in real time, as well as how you will avoid directing users to spots that are already taken. One issue I did find is you didn't explain how the app will make money. Since it's free to use, you should think of how you will generate revenue (maybe ads or selling data to other companies). Another thing I think you should address is the cost and feasibility of putting sensors at every parking spot on campus and in other crowded areas. Your post also has a lot of typos, which should be easy to fix if you give it a thorough look-over. I like how you were able to see being a college student as an advantage, because in a lot of instances, people would see you as being at a disadvantage.
