4A – Forming An Opportunity Belief

I do feel like an opportunity does exist in the realm of parking in my university. I go to the University of Florida and parking is a big issue. At the moment I am going to address scooter parking, because this is a problem and an issue that can be fixed. The need that needs to be done is being able to identify is there is parking in an area, that is certified scooter parking and can tell people if there is parking in that area in advance. This need can be diversified and stretched with parking of different vehicles in any place. But right now I am targeting Universities. This need came from me being very annoyed that parking is very limited in UF and other people agree with my problem. I think that this will help 80% of the problem.

The protoypical customer is a university

  1. How often do people complain about parking?
  2. What do you tell your customers when they ask where to park?
  3. Do you thin an app that tracks your parking will help?
I did three interviews with three people associated with the University of Florida and deal with parking in UF. First I interviewed a worker in the Housing department in UF and they agreed that a parking app will help with parking in UF. it will show where is parking and where there is no parking available in places. Second, I talked to a Subway worker in a place that people usually park. Next t the Subway is a parking garage for scooters and cars. They explained that people come in and ask them all the time where is available parking. They explained that certain times of the day they have to warn them they have the possibility to be towed in the certified parking areas. They can lose business with this too I noticed. Lastly, I talked to the parking department that gives tickets to vehicles that park improperly.They explained that scooters park improperly in spots all the time because the lines are too small and there are too many scooters. Scooters are loitering all over campus sometimes because they are versatile and can be parked anymore but not always legally. 

After listening to all the interviews I see a common problem. In some places there are high demand in parking and in others at times there is low demand. The commonality is that no one wants t be ticketed. But with an app that explains where parking is located and and where people can park is essential. People want to park without getting a ticket. If they can see where these places are located and see the amount is available is essential and is what the people want. Listening to them all of my original and then some have been added t my new idea. I see that the availability it essential. This will help people be less lazy and less tickets will be given. People will drive the extra minute to the next available spot than go get a ticket. Additionally, seeing it I advance is essential too. having the availability, updating real time is essential and can make the app useful and have people park in the right spots. There is no guaranteed there is enough parking for everyone. This will help with the traffic of parking.

24A – Venture Concept No. 1 My parking app 1. The opportunity that I took advantage of is the problem with finding parking in laces that have a high demand in parking. These are places that have a lot of traffic of vehicles coming in and out of an area. Some of the forces that helped me come up with this idea is that I go to a school that has little to no parking. This is a great app that I came up with because it will help identify parking spots and it will save time. It is something that people hate and get irritated about. The main target at the moment for me are college campuses. This is essential because it helps people who go to the college and people who are just visiting. 2A – Bug List

2A – Bug List I hate going to the gym and the gym is dirty, as in the weights are not re racked. Some people are just very lazy and think that someone else will do it for them. Going to cook a meal and the dishes that I need to use are dirty in the sink.  I usually use some dishes that I can use for dinner for lunch. When dinner comes along I have to do the dishes before I can cook and this hinders me.  My roommate does not do his dishes He is lazy ans cooks very little compared to me, he claims he will do it later but later is way too long for me and I need the sink space.  Streaming the soccer game and getting it in another language.
