26A – Celebrating Failure 1. Tell us about a time this past semester that you failed -- whether in this class, or outside of this class. Don't spare any details! It'd be even better if there was something you tried several times this semester, and failed each time. A time I failed was when I took my first accounting exam. It was very hard and I was not prepared for it. I thought I was prepared but I was wrong. 2. Tell us what you learned from it. I learned that I was not prepared. I needed to be prepared for my next one. I got study people and they taught me how to get ready for the exam. It was very difficult and I did well. 3. 3) Reflect, in general, on what you think about failure. Failure is hard, isn't it? It's embarrassing, sure, but it also means that we have to change something about ourselves. Talk about how you handle failure (emotionally, behaviorally). ReplyDeleteI think you did a really good job overall in your elevator pitch number 1. I think that you maybe should have thrown on a collard shirt to show a little professionalism like stated in the instructions. Other than that though you were very clear and easy to follow along with, with a very good product. You did a nice job of keeping it within the time restraints, considering I could have talked all day about fixing TAPS here at University of Florida. I think that this was really good start though for your first elevator pitch, nice job!
