29A – Venture Concept No. 2

29A – Venture Concept No. 2 My parking app 1. The opportunity that  found was when I identified there was a parking problem in my University. This then led me to develop an app that will help anyone in the given area find a parking spot.  The main force that helped me come up with this idea is that I go to a college that has little to no parking for all people who use the university.  My main target is still college campuses. I chose these places because I can relate very well also I need to target places that have a large amount of traffic coming in and out of places. They have a lot of visitors that are unfamiliar with the location. This solves the issue of the lack of clarity of places to park. It puts more help along with understand in parking spots. 2. The focus for this is to have anyone with any type of smart device to be able to use it. This includes IOS and Android for the most part. This will be a big help to have it for both devices, high co...

Final reflection

Image
1. After going through my assignments for this course. I believe the most informative was he elevator pitches. From 1-3 I really liked doing them it helped me see how I perform in a presentation business setting. I liked how people could put feedback and I can se what I need to work on and grow. This helped me with presenting and my people skills. Each one I improved on more and more because it was through the feedback. The feedback helped me reflect and make changes t perfect the last and final pitch.  2. I believe that I improved and grew off my entrepreneurship mindset. I really find it easy to see a problem and the hard part for me still is creating a solution to that problem. But it is through an innovation mindset that helps create a solution to that problem. With this course I was able t harness both ad make them work hand n hand to grow and be more innovative in entrepreneurship.  3.I would recommend for people taking this course in the future to stay on ta...

28A – Your Exit Strategy

28A – Your Exit Strategy 1. I plan on keeping my business and growing it. I love what I made. It was a great idea and through my interviews it seems like people really like it and it would be helpful.I would like to grow it and move it across early all campuses for college and places outside of college campuses.  2. I am very interesting it because it helps people with a problem that everyone struggles with. This is something that can help a lot of people, not just myself. I really like my idea and how it can help a lot of people and possibly their finances and the environment.  3. My way of exit strategy is to have people notice my business and invest in it. I want people to be able to recognize it and have updates to enhance it. This then will have more people interested I it and people would want to use it or enhance it in both ways.

27A – Reading Reflection No. 3

27A – Reading Reflection No. 3 What I read from Scott Adams was very interesting to me. 1. The theme I took from the book whats that accepting failure was necessary for success. IT was a concept that was acceptable. Failure is not a negative it is a positive. It is through failure that change is made and people can use that to innovate new ideas. He talked about his successes were through his failures he failed was able to be successful through them. 2. We talked about lately how failure is god in class. it is a stepping place that leads to the next phase forward. People need to fail to gain ideas to learn and become better. 3. I would make an idea about this book. I would make a project that was very difficult. I would give people a bag of the right pieces to make an object out of lego. Then I would not give them instructions. I would only give them a picture. I would have them try to put it together that way. 4. Something that surprises me that came across was that failure I...

26A – Celebrating Failure

26A – Celebrating Failure 1.  Tell us about a time this past semester that you failed -- whether in this class, or outside of this class. Don't spare any details! It'd be even better if there was something you tried several times this semester, and failed each time. A time I failed was when I took my first accounting exam. It was very hard and I was not prepared for it. I thought I was prepared but I was wrong. 2.  Tell us what you learned from it.    I learned that I was not prepared. I needed to be prepared for my next one. I got study people and they taught me how to get ready for the exam. It was very difficult and I did well. 3.  3) Reflect, in general, on what you think about failure. Failure is hard, isn't it? It's embarrassing, sure, but it also means that we have to change something about ourselves. Talk about how you handle failure (emotionally, behaviorally). Finally, talk about how this class has changed your perspective on failure -- ...

25A – What’s Next?

25A – What’s Next? The Existing Market: For my parking app the first step to getting started is identifying my first location. I need to drive around and see what I am working with. Then I am going to take it to the next level and make an app for it. I need to develop an app that institutes a GPS format on it. This is the foundation and how it first needs to start up. I then need to talk to developers of apps and see how I can enhance it and make sure that the app is not messed up. Once that foundation of the app is madet only takes tweaks to revamp and enhance it with specific features. I then made a plan to enhance the existing market. I will talk to the head of Aramark and the welcome department at my school. They will put signs up and have people try out my app. This will be given to a select few, they can use it and give me feedback. It is through this that I can make changes and enhance my product. I need to stress the main feature of the real time updating this is helpful, b...

24A – Venture Concept No. 1

24A – Venture Concept No. 1 My parking app 1. The opportunity that I took advantage of is the problem with finding parking in laces that have a high demand in parking. These are places that have a lot of traffic of vehicles coming in and out of an area. Some of the forces that helped me come up with this idea is that I go to a school that has little to no parking. This is a great app that I came up with because it will help identify parking spots and it will save time. It is something that people hate and get irritated about. The main target at the moment for me are college campuses. This is essential because it helps people who go to the college and people who are just visiting. This also goes along with workers as well, along with students. I really liked to add the aspect of football game-days. This will really help. This solves the problem of spending a lot fo timing finding a place to park. This is something that is serious and annoying to people. 2.  The innovat...

23A – Your Venture’s Unfair Advantage

23A – Your Venture’s Unfair Advantage 1. I am devoted to perfecting the real time feature.  this is valuable because will really need this and it won't make them waste their time looking for a parking spot. 2. I have real experience with the issue. This is valuable because I can use my point of view to perfect it. 3. I work for Aramark. This can help with the issue with how to perceive it. I can use employees as crash dummies. 4. I am a UF student. I am  third-year student. This will help with knowing the times of parking and setting up the app. 5. I have technological experience. This will help with developing the app and help with marketing it on the internet. 6. I know a lot about Apple IOS. This will help with developing the app and knowing how to put it on the IOS market. 7. I am part of a fraternity. This helps because they will be supportive of me and they can help me create a team to start with the real time feature and keep it updated. 8. I am ...

22A – Elevator Pitch No. 3

22A – Elevator Pitch No. 3 What I learned in the last pitch was that I need to explain more less of how I came up with my idea. This will then help with lessening my video and will not go over a minute and thirty seconds. I like this because then I can just talk about what my product does. I will not explain its weaknesses. I am really happy with my outfit. I know what to wear now and what to look appropriate with. People liked where I changed up and now wear a more business attire outfit. I have to identify my product and the problem it solves quicker. This will also help with decreasing my time making it straight to the point I got to come right into how my product works right after I explain the problem. This will help with targeting my audience and my audience will see if they are intrigued or not. This will also help with the ones that it does target and they will be more interested. Pitch 3

21A – Reading Reflection No. 2

21A – Reading Reflection No. 2 The Art of Social Media 1. The theme behind the book by Kawasaki and Fitzpatrick is the successful usage of social media. This is a way of expanding your business through social media, all through promoting it through different ways on different social medias.  2. This all helps with the setup of a business. The key elements to enhancing your business is shown in this book. This goes a long with planning, through feedback and enhancing a product after multiple trials. All the way to its full potential.  3. I would make an assignment that exercised an illustration of a post on the listed social medias. This will test creativity and show a way of successfully and appropriately posting something to reach your goal.  4. Something that I got from this book was that a person reading it would not understand the references to the new age of social media. Some adults wouldn't understand how to use social media. But reading the book the i...
